The endless or eternal loop (band) of the eternity ring is a symbol of eternal love. Usually set with diamonds, eternity rings can be set with stones all around the band - known as a full eternity ring, or they can be partially set with stones across the top half of the shank, known as a half eternity ring.

There is no set time to purchase an eternity ring. Traditionally an ideal and popular time is on the birth of a couple’s first child and many believe also after seven, or sometimes ten years of marriage.
